Jessica Bauer and I worked extensively to create a recognizable brand for this two-day conference focusing on the management of cancer pain syndromes. The challenge was to create evergreen branding that incorporated symbolism representing pain medicine and the event's location, New York City. The conference's identity needed to be distinct from the institution's other continuing medical education programs that featured imagery of the metropolitan area.
This versatile identity was used to create a variety of collateral for the 2017 conference including a four-panel brochure, a welcome packet, social media graphics, PowerPoint slides, and a poster. The branding has been used in subsequent years.
